I've always heard of people putting tennis balls in dryers to help, but I figured that was an urban myth. As the number of washes for my family has increased, every little improvement helps. Somewhere on the internet I saw something about wool drying balls and after a month or two I figured why don't you give it a try. I only had them for a week but it was a very tough week with 12 loads of laundry. I have to say they really work. Charges that would not dry out completely on the default setting will now dry out completely. That saves time and money. I'll have to keep long term durability in mind as the bullets show just a bit of "blurring" but so far so good. I don't see a significant difference in reducing static, but I'm much less concerned about that than reducing drying time.
