Bought last minute for guests. It arrived on time but the box was open and damaged with several large holes that made me wonder what I would find if I took the bed out of the box. It's bad enough that I had the UPS courier document the damage and take photos before the bed was taken out of the box. There was minimal protection for the bed mechanism or mattress; just a cardboard box around everything. The frame was slightly scratched but fortunately not damaged or deformed; Luckily the mattress wasn't torn or punctured but I wish everything had been packaged with a little more attention for safe shipping. The frame was very light and very easy to assemble. Just spread it out and you're done. The mattress swelled quickly; and there were no smells. My 19 year old niece said that it is very comfortable to sleep on and the mattress doesn't slide around the frame at all. The mattress and frame are thinner than a regular double mattress; So a tall person MAY NOT feel as comfortable or as stable as my niece or me. The frame seemed stable, but I'm wondering how it would feel for a heavier person. I only had full sheets and queen sheets so I just wrapped the sheet around the mattress and used a queen sheet folded in half as the top sheet. For our purposes it worked great. Except for the lousy packaging, I am very satisfied with the purchase; it seemed very good value for money; We'll see how it holds up over time and with additional use.
