Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Enhanced KINESIS Gaming Freestyle Edge RGB Split Mechanical Keyboard (MX Red) - Boost Your Gaming Experience by Paula Oster

Absolutely fantastic! Wow!

On-the-fly macro recording, key swapping and multiple profiles are awesome! This keyboard sets the bar for all other keyboards (and peripherals). The buttons allow you to switch between profiles (Windows/Mac mode), macro recording (common text, low-security passwords, application- and OS-independent special actions), and key swapping (window/alt swap . quotes swap , a rarely used key with a more convenient key, remap an uncomfortable "Reload/Grenade" gaming key to a closer one). Z macro). To remove"Macro => Z => Macro" (no macro). Same for remap"remap/z/x" => remapped. "remap/z/z" (z-to-z => no-remap). A Quick Start Guide is printed on the back/bottom of the keyboard so you can rest if you screw up. _all_ these actions are _trivial_ to do "on the spot". It's literally easy and fast to create a macro or something in any application for any purpose and go to town with it. USB stick) and the `./settings/macros.txt` file is available for checking, backup, update, transfer, etc. It really offers incredible and flexible simplicity of setup, configuration etc. Updates are mainly `cp update .zip => USB-Keyboard` and restart it. Wow! I want all devices (like fancy mice) to use the same mechanism to check for configuration and updates. And on top of that, it's a mechanical split semi-ergonomic keyboard with crazy glowing LED backlighting. Wow! The funniest thing I've found is like a heatmap of the last button pressed. "abcdefg => only these keys light up and slowly go out." Really cool hacker feeling. Wow! Possible negatives or caveats: With great power comes great responsibility. Be careful because you can get into a confusing state that you have to scratch your head for a bit to get out of (e.g. macro "a" => "bbbb" means it's difficult to say "a ' more typing if you can only figure out what key the macro has, and you _may_ lose other macros you've recorded until you figure out how to check/fix/delete them). When you record a macro, it plays like an unstoppable force. Letters will erupt whether you like it or not. Overall, while a bit pricey, this is an incredibly valuable and incredibly well-designed device that after just a few days I'm incredibly happy with it. I will definitely be bragging about it and encouraging other people to buy it, it really looks like "Keyboard 2.0" and will make you reconsider what a keyboard should be!
