I have tried on many brands of overalls and they have all rubbed off one way or another but these fit! So I'm currently a size 12 and am short (5ft 1" and 188.38ddd but I would say they would easily fit someone up to 5ft 5" and 195 due to the comfortable stretch) so I have a 12/14 short and they were still a bit long but I washed them in hot water and they shrunk a bit - just enough for me to wear sneakers and not trip. They're layered, but as a girl's outfit I just wore them and still stayed warm. They are also quite heavy but still stretchy and I can say that over time and for what I do at work they will hold up well when exposed to harsh fall and winter weather. I am very glad that they are even a bit long. The flat tabs instead of buttons for the straps are a bit annoying, they got caught in the dryer and bent a little, although I wanted to pin them together beforehand so that they don't dangle, so be careful. All pockets are nice and deep. My phone is stowed in the front zip pocket so it won't fall out when I lean forward or down to pick something up. They are soft so they won't break during a period like other Carhartt duck materials. I'll probably buy another pair.
