This elegant reading/night light is not only for children. Exceeded my expectations. Many wireless gooseneck lights are limited in their adjustment range due to a light base that is too light. Bend them too much or they will easily tip over. Not these lamps, a good strong and stable heavy base that offers a greater range of functions. Not low weight is not a disadvantage for me, but a feature. Good brightness for reading, and the night light button provides enough light to write messages in the dark without glare, especially for aging eyes that are slower to adjust to light conditions. Battery life is very good to excellent. Easy charging with AC/DC wall adapter or USB power bank in case of power failure. The rectangular pouch holds a small pad and pencil or pen for brainstorming while you sleep or script ideas that pop up at night. As a bedside lamp, it is better to look for notes and pens in the drawer. Cons: Haven't found one yet. Pretty damn good deal for what she does.
