Review on 🏷️ Premium Black Neoprene Full Face Mask by Zanheadgear WNFM114 by Shrikant Ojo

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Haven't found a better solution for cyclists

I bike 14 miles to and from work in Wisconsin, several thousand miles a year. I use this face mask on windy and cold days with temperatures below -7°C. Does a great job of keeping my face comfortable. So far I'm in constant windows at 40 km/h (25 mph) with gusts of 64 km/h (40 mph) at -4°C (25°F) and on less windy days at -4°F (18°F ) hazards. 8 degrees). The biggest complaint is that the nose is pinched, making it difficult to breathe (correction: only when worn tight). This clogs my nose and I have to stop to clear it. This is not easy with a helmet and leads to irritation. After some experimentation, I found that I could place the mask on the bridge of my nose, which allowed me to clear my nostrils. Wearing a mask prevents entrapment. I have long hair in a ponytail at the back of my head. The straps that hold the mask in place connect right where my hair was first tied. Hooks and bars can get caught in hair. To prevent this I added masking tape around some of the hooks. A bike helmet keeps the mask in place for the most part, and the Velcro connections are essential to keeping the mask in place when you put the helmet on. The mouth openings are too narrow for heavy breathing. I cut out the neckline and put on some tape to keep the wind out. This works fine for me. Update 2019: I've tried other face masks since then but keep coming back to this one. I have used this mask in combination with a balaclava and goggles down to -26°F/-32°C. I use it below 25°F/-4°C most days. It's the best so far. For this reason I am increasing the rating to 4 stars. The mask works with glasses. Expect frost on mask and/or icicles on chin on days below 0°F/-18°C. This is cosmetic only and does not affect the performance of the mask.
