First of all I am a father who loves to craft/work with wood. I am far from art or woodworker. These stencils were surprisingly strong and thick for the price. I used spray glue to keep the template from moving across my boards. I used a convex brush with very little paint and I think my markings came out pretty darn good considering I've never done this before. Yes, at the North Pole there is a typo in the word FINEST (at the end of the letter Y). Be careful when cleaning as some letters may be easily bent. I used acrylic paints for the art. I used chlorox wipes to clean the stencils. Works pretty well. For the money they work great! I've sold a lot of signs this holiday season and will be buying more.
