update. I contacted Kichler and they informed me that the motor was covered by their lifetime warranty. The next step is an exchange with Revain. 😁🤞 Almost 2 years ago we bought two of these fans for a large room. We haven't installed them in a few months, so they're not even that old. A part of the fan on one of them started running very slowly a while ago. We thought there might be a wiring issue so we called an electrician. He informed us that everything was hooked up correctly, but the fan motor had failed. He even told us how hot the fan base is and that we shouldn't be running it at all. We don't even run fans like this! Of course not in winter, so it was used relatively little. We haven't replaced it yet because it was broken. We buy the same thing again or two new ones to go with it. 😔 Very disappointed. Fingers crossed for another fan.
