Easy Peasy - Best Powerline Network Adapter

We used it to remotely access a wireless Nest camera that was out of range of a wireless router. Most "wireless" extenders need to connect to a subscriber-supplied router (such as AT&T, Spectrum, etc.) via WiFi. This one works differently. You connect it (with an RJ45 cable) to the subscriber's router so that "it doesn't use the subscriber's Wi-Fi" to connect to the subscriber's router. We've had a lot of issues in the past using the subscriber's Souter WiFi to connect extenders (most setup issues and no access to setup in the subscriber's router). This eliminates the fact that to a subscriber router it just looks like another computer, etc. The box that connects to the subscriber router connects to the wireless portion of that pair through your home power lines. Setting up the power line part of the gadget is very simple. It's also nice that the device creates another, completely separate WLAN network on the "wireless" side. We've had no trouble connecting Nest cameras to a separate network or preventing those connections from dropping. Other WiFi extenders that weren't connected to the mains constantly turned off the cameras (personal experience with WiFi-connected routers). I give this +.
