Review on πŸš— Universal Auto Reversing Sensors Kit with LED Display and Beep-Beep Alarm Indicator - 4-Parking Car Parking Sensor System for Reverse Backup Radar Detection by Sean Tops

Works pretty well. Not easy to install on some cars.

It is designed to fit into something like about 1/16 inch thick sheet metal of your car. Sheet. My bumper had a rubberized part so it was too thick to clip on. I used some super glue and glued it in the drilled holes. This was a difficult install for my Toyota van simply because of the Toyota design to get to the required wiring. The kit itself is very easy to install if your car doesn't look like a Swiss watch. I connected the spare wire I had (22 gauge wire, about 1 meter long) to one of the reverse light positive wires. The wire then ran along the trunk lid to the top hinges. I routed the wire into the car through a grommet that was the existing wiring and installed this kit's power module next to my spare tire and jack. I connected the wire coming from the positive reverse light to the power module positive wire (red). I then grounded the wire to a nearby stud that had a good ground. If you have a car with a tailgate, you can install sensors in the tailgate itself. I had to route the wiring from the bumper to the spare tire area and into the power box. To do this I had to cut a hole at the end of the car, but I covered it with tape that didn't let air through. All in all, if you're very knowledgeable about vehicles, you should be able to install this with relative ease. The wiring isn't complicated, it's just the logistics of getting the wiring where it belongs. I had to remove a lot of trim and drill a new hole in the car if you go through the bumper.
