Update September 2021 I had had this light on for a total of 10 minutes (literally TEN MINUTES) for 31 days. He discharged 8 HIGH-END batteries. As? It's not even turned on! I put 4 batteries in, check the light, it works, I turn it off, then I come back a week later to turn it on and the batteries are dead. DO NOT BUY - unless you plan to remove the batteries EVERY TIME you use it again. I would return it but the return period expired after 3 days. So disappointing August 2021. Replaced my broken halogen bulb in my crockery display case. Very easy to install. I like the magnetic strip which makes it easy to change batteries when needed. The remote control is a game changer for me as it is a tall cabinet that I would otherwise have to stand on a stool to turn it on and off. I wish it was brighter as it doesn't go as deep into the body as the original halogen. (The original lit the 4th or 5th shelf, but this one barely makes it through the 3rd) And I wish you didn't see each of the 10 LEDs individually because it looks a bit garish. But overall it worked well for my purposes. FYI if this helps anyone, when I first clicked it on I really thought it wasn't bright enough and was disappointed. But when I tried the dimmer function on the remote, I found that initially I wasn't on the brightest setting. So it was a pleasant discovery.
