I spent some money on bedding for my dorm including pillows. These pillowcases work great and protect my investment. I've seen a lot of reviews on here about them being prickly. I don't know if people know these are pillow savers! You still need to put the pillowcase on top of the pillowcase. So you need to put a pillowcase on the pillow and then add a normal pillowcase. I also like that they can be washed in hot water and don't shrink. Haven't tried it yet but I washed them in warm water and they were fine. I need this because although they say they clean the dorms before you move in, I've experienced the opposite and had to do a thorough cleaning and use a mattress topper and pillowcases. I feel safer knowing I'm protected from bed bugs, dust mites and allergens while living in a hostel!
