We needed a light with a timer because we didn't want to turn the light on and off manually and among other things we bought this from the store precisely because the description said it was it has an on timer at 6am and an off timer at 6pm and there was a picture with instructions on how to activate the timer (see attached picture). After receiving it yesterday and spending a lot of time hanging it up, we found that the so-called "timer" was not working. There isn't even a "green light" that the graphical instruction refers to. Now we have to go outside and turn it on and off manually to turn it on and off. This is misleading marketing.
