Mattress cover and pillow cases of excellent quality. I bought a mattress pad to protect our new foam mattress from stains in case there might be a warranty issue in the future. There was no discernible noise and the pad was pleasantly terry-like like a cloth on top. I will warn you! Our memory foam mattress has a cooling effect because my husband likes to sleep. Due to its waterproof properties, this underlay must block the cooling properties of the mattress. My husband woke up several times during the night because he was HOT! This morning his side of the bed got wet, including the pillows. Today I will wash the sheets again and remove the mattress pad. I don't think it's this one, I think any waterproof case would do the same? If you're using this on anything other than a cooling memory foam mattress, this is a great pillow for the price!
