Awesome Review An Awesome Supply

This colorful ice cream review can be summed up in one word: PERFECTION. Since I can't leave such a short review (seriously - I could even call myself pompous. no I wouldn't - I would call myself a public speaker lol) I have to tell you why I think it's absolutely excellent. Let's talk about color - delicious bright shades of tropical flowers. These are the colors I would surround myself with in my world. I love how light and juicy they are. Consistency: Like a velvety lipstick, they color on every surface I've tried with great results. To create a work that really sings, you need very little, especially when adding water. With the included brush and some water, you can spread these delicious creams on your project with incredible ease. Adding a little water just turns them into luscious watercolors, and adding more water allows you to achieve the "blurred" look that's so popular these days. (Check out my photo of the house I made with them.) Brush included: LOVE the quality! Usually the brushes that come with a kit (of whatever kind) are terrible, but not this one. I really love it! I've used it for so many things. This is my favorite brush and I get panic attacks thinking about how I'm going to live when the time comes. Not a single hair lost, firm but not too hard, absorbs the perfect amount of water. I love this thing! Versatility: Gelatos works on almost any substrate you can think of. You also have many options when applying to the substrate. Cut some off, put it in a spray bottle with some water and spray it on your project. Apply directly from the tube. Use a brush. Use a wet brush. Use a cotton swab. Questionable. your finger. palette knife. Dauber. Sponge. It's late, I'm tired and not feeling creative right now, but you get the idea. Gelato is suitable for both experienced artists and beginners. This is my new favorite, which says a lot. (My house is like a mix of Hobby Lobby, Michael, and Dick Bleek put together. But only because I would need the floor space of all three of those stores to properly store all my supplies!) A working latch, however, seems to keep it in place I have to say I didn't notice any color change when I added another wet medium AFTER they were COMPLETELY DRY. I also like to use a combination of clear plaster and clear coat (in a thin coat) to make sure everything stays the same on the previous coat while I add some tooth to the new coat. If you are looking for an amazingly colorful stock, CLICK TO BUY NOW! What are you waiting for? Oh, and they also come with two sponge wedges (like makeup applicators) - one soft and one hard. If these things made me coffee in the morning, I'd run away with them.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
