These shoes are comfortable and just what you need for water sports. We used them on a fishing boat and then out in the sea where it was very shelly and rough. They worked but I will say the sand gets in and gets stuck there until you throw the shoes away. It is therefore ideal for fishing or rafting. but in the sand they are not the biggest. But that's not a fault of the product itself - just the texture of the sand is everywhere :)
