This dress is perfect for thanksgiving. I bought it in two different colors for my two daughters. I washed them on a delicates cycle and hung them up to dry after the gentle cycle, the skirts don't bunch up as I feared. I did not wash the bands that came with the kit. I ordered her size 2-3 years. She was great in her, I think it will suit her perfectly this time next year. My 3 year old daughter wears 3-4T. I bought her a size 4-5 and it fits her perfectly. The belt loops were a bit high but I made up for that by tying the loops a bit poorly, my youngest didn't want to let go of the loop. sit pretty anyway so it didn't really bother me. They were perfect for the occasion.
