I bought this unit to see if it would work with my absorption fridge on wheels. My fridge has no moving parts and uses a 60W lightbulb. It can be operated with direct or alternating current. Since my van only has a limited number of DC connections, I chose AC for the fridge. When I arrive at the campsite or at home, I can use an extension cord and plug in the fridge from the outside. The 200W BMC car inverter powers the refrigerator and also powers other devices. Now the company can say that it has specific types of camping fridges.
