Review on Pet Naturals Vermont Supplement Bite Sized Cats by Carol Miller

In early summer of 2013 my cat started to urinate inappropriately. I was concerned it was starting to block and spent a lot of money on the weekends for very little emergency care and got a Hills C/D which my cat completely refused. The following Monday our vet confirmed the presence of crystals. Things started to get back to normal over the next few weeks, and then we went on a weekend getaway. For the sake of simplicity and since he seemed to have recovered, I let him eat kibble on the weekends. That was a big mistake because the day after we returned he had 100% urinary obstruction. Then we spent a lot of money on the operation. A few days later he was home and taking the following three products: - Royal Canin Urinary SO wet food (1/3 can per day) - Calorie modified Royal Canin Urinary SO dry food - Comfort Zone with Feliway Refill for cats, 6 packs The problem was that he was still licking his crotch constantly, so I knew something was bothering him. Then all of a sudden (about 2 weeks later) he started urinating all over the place and it was bloody. We took him to the vet and his urine had a good pH (thanks to the new diet), very few crystals, but he had a blood clot in his bladder. He was then diagnosed with FLUTD (which basically means "we don't know exactly what's going on”). We put him there for a couple of days to get sub-Qs (we tried that ourselves but the youtube videos demonstrating this had cats who must have been punched in the head before the needle was inserted, because our cat kicked like a bull after he was healed, we added the following to the prescribed diet and Feliway: - Xanax (1/2 tablet twice daily) with FELINE GREENIES PILL POCKETS, Salmon, 45 Treats, 1.6 oz.- Pet Naturals UT Support for Cats (45 pack) - Nutramax Cosequin Capsules 80 pack 4 packs mixed with his wet food - Precious Cat Cat Attract Problem Cat Training Litter 40lb Bag (we got this a few weeks after these others Products added are based on the episode I mention below) He had 2 instances of inappropriate urination after my cat was cured but before we added kitty litter I think he smelled the old stains for d ie we used some cleaning products (including 2 enzyme cleaners), and didn't smell anything ourselves. Since then I've ripped out the carpet, sprayed the floors with nature's wonder, then scrubbed it down with H2O2, baking soda, and soap. Finally, I used Kilz Max in all of these places to seal it. Then I laid new carpet with waterproof padding. After all of this was done, my cat started refusing these UT gummy candies. Now I tear pill bags in half. I put the Xanax in one half of the pill pocket and then press the other half of the pocket against the gum (obviously this doesn't cover the entire gum but does cover one side completely). This makes my cat seem to really enjoy the treats. Pet Natural's recently upgraded the product to this newer version. As far as I can tell the product is very similar to the old one but maybe a little tougher. I really think my cat likes the taste of the new version better. It's been 3 years and everything is going well. In fact, I hardly ever see my cat lick itself. I still have pretty much the same routine every day (reduced his wet food portion a bit because he gained too much weight). 1-2 UT Chewables, 1-2 doses of Xanax, Urinary SO Wet (1/4 dose), Urinary SO Dry (modified calories), Cosequin, and Cat Attract Filler. He's definitely drinking more fluids and urinating a lot more than before. I feel like I'm solving the problem from all sides, so I really hope everything goes well.
