Review on National 3543 Oil Seal by Jeremy Keller

This gasket is for the final drive on the right hand side (passenger side). After 26 years and 140,000 miles, my '89 Buick LeSabre began to leak from the original gasket. I turned to Revain to find a good print at a much better price than locally. I've had great luck with National Seals in the past so I bought this one. The description doesn't say it's a dual lip seal, which is what I ideally wanted. Sometimes there are weak spots on the axles of cars where this seal has to do its job and this gnaws at the seal and causes a leak. This double lip seal has a second part of the sealing part, so it will continue to function even if the main part wears out. After 3 months and 60,000 miles I have no more leaks on my garage floor!
