Review on 🪚 Makita 10 Pack - 5" Cut Off Wheels: Aggressive Metal & Stainless Steel Cutting for 5" Grinders by Michael Maes

I recently decided to get into the forge and needed a forge. I went a slightly different route and took an old fire extinguisher and used it. I bought an angle grinder a few weeks ago and took some cut-off wheels with me. After opening the pack of discs I had a gut feeling that using the discs on anything other than soft material would injure me, so I settled on reliable cutting discs. I bought a pack of 10 discs and I absolutely love these discs. I had to cut through the extinguisher from top to bottom and then connect both cuts from top and bottom to make a cover that will come off. For those who don't know how thick fire extinguishers are, imagine cutting something almost as thick as an ethernet cable because that's how thick it was. I used up 3 cutting discs and I can still use the third one. I was too rough with the second one so it burned out pretty quickly. Most discs will start to crack, break, and throw splinters, but I've never had this problem with these. If you want quality washers that will hold and rip through thick steel, these are what you need. I will buy more just to have as a backup. Great price, great product and the best part is I didn't have to take the shards out of my body when using them!
