Recommendation: remove broken mirror, glue new one, then reattach

Odyssey 2015, fits very well but not perfect but may have been because I glued the broken mirror on, everything still on. I later found that aligning would be much easier if I took the broken mirror out of the case to attach the replacement glass. I have a very small stripe at the bottom of the mirror where I can see a small portion of the broken mirror, but it's not that noticeable to most. By price. Works perfectly, hence 4 stars.
