I've just purchased 2 different models of UPPERCASE keyboard protectors. The material on both is amazing. The backlit keyboard works and it is quite stiff so it doesn't hang around like other silicone protectors I've used in the past bothers anyway as long as it's clear enough for backlit keyboard The model for my MacBook Pro Retina (Mid 2012) fits perfectly Doesn't slip at all and has no gaps around the edges. Highly recommend as the best keyboard protector I've ever tried! Model I bought for my 12" Macbook doesn't fit. Seems like it could be stretched wider so it doesn't properly fits on individual keys m. Of course, the keys on a MacBook 12" are very flat, so the lid does not stay in place. Since the depth of the keyboard is probably Apple's fault, I'm not sure UPPERCASE could have handled the slipping issue better. I would ignore that if I could. The keys fit but unfortunately both together make it rude to recommend. Not sure if this is a quality issue as I have only received one item or all for 12" to see what happens UPDATE January 8th 2017 - I have ordered a replacement for my MacBook 12" and the new one fits perfectly. It doesn't stretch out too much anymore and finally seals properly with the keys. It can still slip off easily since the keys are so small, but that's Apple's design. As mentioned with my MacBook Pro, it is great keyboard case now that it fits! It looks like they might have some quality issues otherwise I would have given a full 5 stars.
