I like the basic functionality of this thing. I'm used to getting water from a water bottle so the idea of maximizing water is great. This backpack is really basic with no space to stash tools, jackets etc. My first trip on the camelback went well, it's easy to drink while getting used to the squeezing noise. My second try started well until I bent down to get something and realized the lid wasn't screwed on properly, causing my bladder to slosh water all over my back. You should carefully inspect the cap after filling. Also, the initial gas taste in the bladder is unpleasant and has persisted for two rides so far.
