I was thinking of buying a new fan to replace the one in my bedroom since the high speed stopped spinning at high speed then I researched online and found it Find out what caused it. After the original part broke I ordered a replacement here from Revain. I'm glad I did as the wireframes on the new switch block are much larger and the springs are much stronger than the old stock part. So for only 20€ I got my original fan back and don't have to worry about buying a new one. If there are problems with the capacitors of other fans in the future, I plan to replace both the switch and the capacitor at the same time. Don't forget to take a picture of the cables in your OEM unit before you disconnect anything. When I first started my fan I thought I wired it wrong because it didn't start at high speed like you would expect when you pull the cable from the stop position. Once I pulled the chain through a full cycle, everything worked fine. I assume there is a problem with where the standard switch is located, not the capacitor or the wiring. So the product is good and the delivery from my seller was fast. I highly recommend trying this before spending big bucks on a new fan assembly.
