These monitors produce impressive images with very good colors and contrast. They were bright enough to light up my entire city when I first turned them on, but some quick menu tinkering quickly brought the brightness down to levels that aren't retina-burning. The main problem with these monitors was that they have a curve. I have three 1800R curved monitors installed on a flight/racing simulator which work great, the image is not distorted and the curvature is not noticeable unless you are sitting in the setup itself. These monitors were designed for a desk and theirs extra flexibility is too much for a chair that doesn't always stand in the same place. I was constantly trying to adjust the image so that it wasn't obviously curved. I always had to fiddle with the height to keep the bottom of the screen from looking more curved than the top and I could never get it up/angle down. screens correct. They might work very well on a simulator but not on my desk where I just don't intend to sit in the same spot and I tend to lean to one side when gaming or watching a movie and that always caused an image . look distorted. These are good monitors but after several days of trying them out I returned them.
