Order 4 packs medium length for a boy. I had two packs of 2 each shirt had loose threads and they were different sizes. They were all printed "medium," but they were four completely different lengths, varying by as much as 3 inches. Only one was anywhere near average length. Came back and advised you not to waste your time on this.
