This is not a traditional cleaning brush although it looks like it in the photo. If you think it's made from the same materials and built like a standard sink brush or baby bottle brush, it's not. The white "cleaning materials" on it are really just small pieces of styrofoam. Haven't cleaned my carafe with this yet so will update this when I do. I can say that the device is quite long and semi-flexible, so I hope it works. However, if I had known that it was made of small pieces of styrofoam, I would never have bought it. Aside from being terrible for the environment, it looks like it's about to fall apart. Let's see how it holds up.
