Review on 🚗 ECOGARD XA6183 Premium Engine Air Filter for Fiat 500 1.4L (2012-2016) - Improve Your Vehicle's Performance by Greg Mack

I ordered this engine air filter along with the cabin air filter for a 2012 Fiat 500. They arrived a few days after ordering. The two filters were in their original flimsy cardboard packaging which was then sealed in a plastic wrapper, but thankfully they arrived safely and undamaged. I prefer to buy American filters, but they are made in China. The engine air filter is neatly finished, has lots of dirt-collecting folds and is surrounded by a thick rubber seal. After the retractable engine cover was removed, I used an 8mm socket to loosen three long hex head screws to remove the engine air filter housing cover. There isn't much room for maneuver for this, so a low profile ratchet wrench would be handy. I removed the old filter, vacuumed the housing of the remnants of the leaves and replaced the filter. Reassembly consisted simply of inserting the filter, aligning the housing cover, installing the screws and reinstalling the motor cover. It's hard to believe that some of the prices car dealerships are willing to charge for this operation!
