Consists of chains, no beads. It's kind of hard to tell from the photo. It is very well made and looks very nice. Everything is attached and finished nicely (I make jewelry so I notice these things) and it's a good weight so it's made from real chain. You can't adjust where it attaches, but you can just put it on your head so you don't have to. Wearing an open back shirt can look cool backwards. Many possibilities. This is a piece that can look good or prettier with a casual outfit. I will definitely keep these. I have a few more items from Richera and they are all well made and come with a lovely gift bag so make great gifts.
