Why have I waited so long?
I don't even know how I've been sewing for so long without this tool. I make a lot of masks and iron a lot of 1/4" wide double-folded edges. This tool a) dissipates heat, making fabric handling and the next fold easier, and b) creates a clean, crisp fold. I use it even after I turn the mask inside out and it greatly improves the sewing of edges and creases.
