When I decided to do a 1000 Cranes project for a loved one I decided I didn't need a single color kit; I wanted variety and pattern for my cranes. I ordered this paper (360 sheets) and also ordered a box of 1000 star paper. I didn't know which I liked better, so I ordered both. When they arrived I experimented with both and found that this paper was easier to work with. It holds both sharp and soft creases well, has good "fill" and does not tear easily. It smells pleasantly of ink on paper. The unprinted side has a very light, pleasant texture. Some colors seem thicker than others (darker colors) but I suspect this is due to the ink. The patterns themselves are cute and while it's not the trendiest paper I find the variety of colors and patterns excellent at this price point and much better than other papers I've tried. I ordered two more boxes to make my 1000 cranes from this paper.
