I've always had 2 boxes of this size, 1 on top and 1 on bottom. Never complain about a cat, they just always use them, they like the size. enough room to turn around without touching the pee wall or stepping on or around the dance. Worth the money, quality box. Sturdy construction and thick plastic fasteners. Snapping 2 piece latches together and then what is now 1 piece on the hood can be a nail breaker but worth it afterwards, very strong latch, presses hard. A door cut as part of the hood makes it easier to use a garbage bag (much cheaper than the hard-to-find liners) because the hood won't move once you've secured it firmly to the pan. The free swing door is designed without gaps, without jamming. Enough space to grow into an adult cat or Maine Coon. The larger doorway is great, no tightness, squats, hanging movements required. The lowest level is great for a kitten as it grows old. all about a big trash can. reminds me of a large shower stall - big enough to wash your hair and never bump into the wall, with a door wide enough without having to turn sideways or crouch, which you're starting to hate. Just go with the pan wall in mind. The blue flip top gives you plenty of room to check things out. I would highly recommend this box to anyone looking for a box of a lifetime as it takes a long time to put together. great design
