Review on 🔍 Enhance Accuracy and Precision with the Jasper 200J Circle Cutting Jig for Plunge Routers by Walter Hodzic

I've been using these Jasper circle cutters for many years (over a decade) and they work consistently. This latest order, a replacement for a worn kit from years ago, was a bit of a disappointment though. I still have to give it four stars, but it doesn't automatically get five anymore. First, the bright yellow color of the marker - whose idea was that? Difficult to read and frankly ugly. I prefer the old flat gray. Second, the silkscreen work on this one is just plain bad. Serious. There are parts of the numbers that have detached from the edges throughout, making some of them very difficult to read. Looks like someone took this after printing and kicked it on the floor most of the day. And the edges aren't quite flat. I've never had a smooth jasper. Now I'm wondering if the quality of the jasper has deteriorated or if I caught a fake. I'm not sure. Hm. Mine just arrived in plain white bubble wrap with a small packet of screws, unlike the packaging I received last (about 7 years ago). That works, but is no longer automatically the best.
