Very good, durable metal edge. The whole chair and table assembly was very easy to put together. The entire assembly basically consists of screwing tubes into each other. The table and chair have adjustable handles that can be used to compensate for uneven floors. The light has multiple settings from low to high and even warm from yellow to white light. The adjustable book stand is very stable and the rubber sleeve can also comfortably hold a full-fledged iPad on it! This table is perfect for my preschooler and provides a more focused study area as opposed to a kitchen table. The price might seem high but this is metal, not the usual pressed chipboard tables you find at Ikea etc. A word of warning; Screws can break very easily. They seem pretty cheap, and the included hex tool can strip a screw if you're not careful. Very happy, will update if necessary.
