I was looking for clippers to cut my own hair. I had Wahl Seniors in my head for some reason, so I bought a Wahl Senior (grey, not 5-star) from a third party. When it arrived I found it had been used and decided to return it. I decided to try another third party and found this product. I found the box had everything that was described (oil, comb, 3 shields etc) and they looked new but the clippers themselves looked greasy and there were black spots on the nails. To be honest, it didn't look all that new - and the photos that some low-rated reviewers have put on these review boards are pretty headbutting. It was similar to the previous ones I've brought back - the gray ones I described earlier. A friend convinced me to keep them, claiming that they come from the factory like this. I didn't want to go back to the pickup point to return them. So I kept them and I can't say they are bad clippers. They didn't get very hot, although I often turn them off when changing protection, combing, etc. I don't know if I recommend buying them from Revain 3rd party suppliers. I tried to find official Wahls dealers and found that they cost more for similar models (which is suspicious and makes me wonder if all Revain models are used!). I hope you get the clippers you're looking for - or no clippers at all, that's always an option ;) But seriously, there's something worth cutting your hair for!
