Excellent for adding air to an aquarium. They're light and air flows through them, so it's not surprising that they'll eventually float to the top if you don't do anything to keep them down. I put weights on mine but it would be possible to hook it to something or just about any other way to weigh it down. It seems obvious, but I didn't think about it when I bought them because the last few bubblers I've had had suction cups to attach them to the tank wall. Now that I've sorted them, I really like them.
