I bought this to add a little to my RM850x. I consider this kit an upgrade because I wanted separate connectors for each power connector on my GTX 1080 ti. Apparently the "CORSAIR Type 4 PSUs" also have capacitors in the leads. They can also be found in the original power supply cables (last picture).
