Review on Spornette Ion Fusion 2.5 Inch Ceramic Round Brush: Maximize Hair Volume and Shine by Michelle Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The brush really works, just a bit pricey.

Having used this comb a few times when blow drying my hair I have found that it straightens or straightens my hair a lot better. hair than any previous brush (including other round brushes) I've tried. I'm not that good at straightening my hair with a round brush or doing anything like "salon styling" and usually rely on a flat iron to straighten my hair. This is the first product I've tried that really smooths and straightens my frizzy (but keratin treated) hair before I use any flat iron. If I took the time to section my hair into small sections and use this comb, I could probably skip the flat iron altogether (although it's bulkier and more prone to frizz if you don't add product to the afterword). . But with the replacement brush I use (I used the same hair dryer), I've noticed a huge difference in results between this and other "ceramic" or "ionic" round brushes (and certainly much better than any flat one Brush). The only reason I didn't give this brush 5 stars is the rather high price per brush, although there are many much more expensive brushes out there. I also had a hard time choosing the size of shaft to buy (I have medium length curly curly but keratin treated and highlighted hair, but finer). It's hard to tell the difference between cask sizes, especially online, so I didn't enjoy buying it without knowing what to expect based on the mixed reviews from other buyers. I will say the 3 inch barrel I bought is not too big or huge. like some others I've seen; It's larger than the 'regular' round brush, but the perfect size for those with shoulder-length or longer hair that needs volume. I'm sure for those more experienced with a round brush than I am, creating a salon style would be ideal. The brush does not pull or grab strands of hair, leading to brittleness unlike similar boar bristles. brushes I have used. It really glides through my hair, which I've never experienced with a round brush as they tend to get tangled in my curly hair. It also heats up during blow drying, which likely helps with a smooth finish. That being said, the claims of the product are definitely true (although I was skeptical) so I would recommend this brush to anyone looking for a quality, mid-range round brush for blow-drying their hair. It's not for beginners, but I don't really like a round brush if you don't know how to use it properly.
