Purchased chains in size 100 CB12 for my 2014 BMW 328d (Standard 17" wheels and tires; Rear drive; All season tires; 225/50-17). Plenty of snow in East Tennessee, um worrying about chains but last week was very different with temperatures of 5-15F for 4 days with an ice storm on Monday then 1-2 inches of snow on Tuesday night and then some slush on Friday but more snow and ice and freezes again overnight. It's quite hilly here, and although the city clears the main streets fairly well, we often get stuck just exiting driveways or blocks (or coming home after work). I've watched how e-trailer.com installed these tracks twice, inspected the tracks carefully then went out and installed them - literally took me less than 5 minutes on both bikes I was able to easily do the long, steep, icy/snowy hill next door when the traction control light came on intermittently. The only trick is, when you're ready to take them off, make sure you stop the wheels in the same position you installed the chains or you'll have trouble finding the disconnect link. In the attached photo I was downhill and before stopping in the photo I drove a short distance to check reverse thrust - so the chainguard is visible in the ice (under a thin layer of fresh snow) both in front and behind the bike.
