I've been researching different types of cat litter for a few weeks. I knew I didn't want plastic, I knew I wanted stainless steel or aluminum. I actually contacted a local steel and aluminum factory to make it as I'm having trouble using local production. However, they could not be accommodated. And I prefer to only buy products made in the USA and found myself in a dilemma - I can't find it. Decided to try this product. Some reviewers said it was made in the US, while others said the device they received was made in China. Unfortunately, mine was made in China, but I had no other choice. I needed two very large trays and didn't want plastic. Well, having said all that, I like her. I only have two complaints: 1) Is it possible to do something similar in the US? and also. 2) WHY STICKERS?! It took paint thinner to remove them! I haven't had any problems, but I use "clump filler". Another thing I would like to mention, if I may, is . about the smell of the toilet. if you feed your cat raw food - NO SMELL! INDEED! I was skeptical too, but to "save our sick kitten" I took a chance and tried a raw food diet (darwinspet.com). Our kitten, who was on his way to heaven, miraculously survived and is thriving - all thanks to raw food! The reason I mention this is that a raw food diet is generally better for cats; A major benefit for owners is NO SMELL OF GARBAGE - REALLY!
