Review on πŸ”ͺ 7-Inch CUTLUXE Cleaver Knife - Vegetable and Meat Butcher Knife – Forged Razor Sharp High Carbon German Steel – Full Tang Ergonomic Handle Design – Artisan Series by Richard Muncy

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Certainly not a paring knife.

The fact that the video shows a man chopping vegetables with this knife does not make it a paring knife. I can use a fire ax on zucchini if I'm crazy enough, but that doesn't make it a cooking tool. The cleaver is too heavy and difficult to handle to cut thin slices as one would expect from a "Chinese chef's knife". I didn't want to rob the bank so I followed the good reviews and bought this one. I was also keen to avoid cheap steel for a lot of money. Also, both sides of the blade are ground differently, which means I have to repair the blade myself. I would return it if it were possible to find reasonable and cheap merchandise.

Pros
  • RAZOR EDGE - Manually sharpen the blade at an angle of 14-16 degrees on each side for maximum sharpness and blade retention to ensure a precise cut every time.
Cons
  • Slightly dented
