wine aerator arrived quickly. And it's easy to use. The decanter looks so tiny - you'd never think you could fit a bottle of wine in it, but it is! Simply pour the bottle into the carafe and set the timer for the time you need to aerate. Depending on the wine, it took me 5, 10 and 20 minutes. As you can see in the photo, the panel and decanter light up during operation. There is also no sound - very quiet. As I said in the title, this device is half the price of another wine aerator. The only difference I see is that this is a glass carafe and the other uses a Spiegelau carafe. I already have 5 decanters, so why pay more? It is interesting to conduct two experiments. First fill the carafe with water to see the funnel in action. Then start by pouring some wine from the bottle into your glass. Then pour the rest into a decanter to aerate. You can usually tell the difference in the wine. Sometimes a big difference. Happy slurping!
