The cleaver arrived with no problems. It is very sharp and a good size and weight for a small cleaver. It has a good balance, decent weight, the handle feels good in the hand. Easily cuts vegetables and meat. However, I would NOT cut bones with it, except for the smallest chicken bones if you really have to. 7CR17MOV is not "Super Steel" as advertised. This steel grade is on the cusp of better, stronger steels like 8CR13MOV, one of its closest relatives in the higher price segment. The benefit is that it's easier to sharpen regularly with basic sharpening tools. I give 5 stars for the value for money. The sheath that comes with it would be nice as it is very sharp. That being said, with regular hand washing and drying after each use, I expect this knife to last a long time.
