The light is very bright, which is great. HOWEVER... Here's what happened at Christmas. When we lived in the Midwest, Wisconsin, we had early snow and early cold, so we thought what would be if it was warmer we will continue with the outside decoration so tonight we started the installation we hung it around the railing with zip ties 2 hours later we reconnected it and the 4ft light section was up completely off.!# *?/#.Got it?Rather than going back and taking them all down, packing them up, going to the UPS to get them back, my husband cut a section off and used the connectors that came with them to make them work.Only problem is now that we don't have much... so on the plus side they are beautiful downside they didn't all work and now wondering if they even did will survive the holiday season you can easily take them back, update: service from support contacted me and offered to replace them. Which they did, but by the time I received them I had already bought another set locally. I plugged them in and again they all work, but I can't tell if they'll last longer or not unless I reinstall them out on the deck. So for now all I can say is that they work and we'll see what happens next year when I start using them. However, I have to say that I was impressed with the customer service department.
