Inexpensive ceramic board with solder feet
The name says it all. This is a ceramic plate for soldering. It has small rubber feet to reduce static electricity, which is important if you plan on soldering north of Florida in the winter. You can improvise, but it's cheap, the right size, smooth (but not glazed), and ready to use. Arrived faster than the new soldering station I ordered, I consider it as important as the new brass socket cleaner and right after the octopus based hand tool. Buy it and create something cool or new and then share it with others.
