Not bulletproof. It's not even a surf protection. I had it for all three sessions before it broke. I'm not picky about my gear. i am newbie I ride the KookStorm Foam in small waves. The leash that came with the CostcoSpecial didn't snap, it just twisted. It should have been a step forward because it rotates. It was like that for the first two sessions, then a good wave and I swim back to shore to get my board. And sure enough, it broke a few days after the return window. A complete waste of money.
