Great lens, build quality is solid, everything works as it should, the aperture ring snaps in very well and the focus ring is smooth from start to finish. I bought it to capture stars with both full frame and crop frame Canon cameras and both come out very good and sharp. You have to keep in mind that this is a fully manual lens, just like in the days of cinema, and if you don't like to think and do things, you don't have to buy it, but you will miss out on a lot of fun lenses. It will cost you a fortune when you buy brand name lenses. Your best bet is to find your hyperfocal length and shoot at f/11 and you shouldn't have any problems. Added this to my recent Rokinon 12mm purchase for my Fuji X mount and will be purchasing others.
