--Price -- After comparing several inexpensive microphones, I settled on this one. I've come to the conclusion that it sounds better to me compared to the FiFine K669 after looking at some YouTube reviews. This whole set isn't that much more expensive than the FiFine K669 itself without accessories, unless you include the tiny crappy stand that comes with the FiFine. However, this Neewer kit includes everything you need to complete your microphone setup. If you were to purchase the accessories in this kit separately, it would cost almost $30 WITHOUT the microphone. So this kit is exceptional value even if you don't factor in the mic. -- Microphone -- The microphone included in this kit is really very good! As mentioned, it sounded better to me than the FiFine K669, a very popular mic here at Revain. I like the built-in USB port. The noise is pretty low at 60-80% gain and I didn't notice any clipping at all. In fact, you might be surprised to learn that this mic shares the same USB audio interface as the much more expensive Blue Snowball Ice. (CM6327A) Sounds very good and is quite useful. This isn't a disposable mic, although Neewer has a crazy deal! I would most likely choose this mic over the Blue Snowball Ice simply because it's a lot easier to set up and sounds the same or even better. Needless to say, I'm not a Blue fan at all! -- Usage -- This kit really has everything you need for a good microphone experience. You don't have to deal with a crappy little desktop tripod, you don't have to buy a shock absorber with it, you don't have to worry about buying a pop screen. These things are part of it. It seems that all the "bad" aspects of buying a microphone are solved with this kit. It is comfortable to use in operation. A $35 full install is an amazing experience. No more fiddling with tiny desk pads that pick up every little vibration on your desk! The mic stand is incredibly comfortable and I can position the mic exactly where I want it, near my mouth. -- Conclusion -- In conclusion, I am very satisfied with this set. This kit is an AMAZING value and it truly comes with a full no compromise customization. If you ever want to upgrade to a new microphone, you can use the same parts that came with this kit. This includes all the different parts of Neewer mics, which are sold through Revain at a much lower price. If you're looking for a complete, no-frills microphone setup at a great price, you've come to the right place!
