Review on Flair Signature Espresso Maker - The Ultimate Manual Espresso Press for Authentic Home Brewing (Pressure Kit, Black) by Keith Maynard

Good espresso but disappointing machine

Flair makes delicious espresso. I really enjoyed doing this from home. Admittedly, this is a generally delicate process. This works well enough for one person, but if you want to do more it will take a while. I WANTED to buy a different brew head to streamline this process. I'm glad I waited. I originally bought it because it's a very basic car. lever and piston. Few things can go wrong. I thought the high cost was a result of quality materials and craftsmanship. Unfortunately, the linkage is loose and wobbly. The cast aluminum frame is cheap and of poor quality. It broke after 7 months of use. When I emailed customer service, they told me that I (5ft, 100lbs, female) had broken it with too much force and offered to sell me another cheap die-cast aluminum stand. I can barely unscrew a fresh jar of pickles. Personally, I'm looking elsewhere for a replacement.
